What 5AM looks like

Everyday my alarm went off between 5:00 and 5:15, I pushed the snooze 2 times before getting up. (a little useless information about me.... I have to get up and walk across the bedroom to hit the snooze and I do that at least two or three times climbing back in bed and sleeping within that 9 minutes) This morning when I don't have to go to work I am awake at 4AM with John and I can't get back to sleep. My mind is spinning with everything from work to no work, what is going to happen, how will I get through this, what did I do wrong.... I know there isn't answers for any of these questions but when you let your mind run wild it seems to answer them all with a lot of negative responses. I'm not willing to let that happen so I got up and started my day.

This is what 5AM looks like.

By the end of this weekend we should have a Miss Blueberry, she went to the doctor today and they thinks she's moving along quite well and expect her back before the weekend is up. Don't hold your breath but keep checking back and I'll keep you updated.

I noticed you were up at 5:00 (comment on my blog at shortly after that) Isn't it crazy when we wake up anyway even when the alarm doesn't go off? I think our brains are just programmed that way and I don't know if that ever goes away. Oh well - the sunrise is beautiful and now I know I'm not the only crazy one up at that time.

I'm up at that time just about every day; having a bait shop those fishermen like to get going early. Where I live now is so shaded and in the woods that I miss the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It's not the same as seeing them across an open area.

Sorry to hear about the big layoff... as you know my daughter was one of unfortunates too. I think your gift from your hubby was wonderful... and he unloaded it... better yet! How thoughtful of him.

I sure wish I could have made it down to your place with Staci. She had nothing but great praise for you and your gardening skills. She even gave me a few of the plants from you. I know it's an old wives tale that you shouldn't say thank you for plants given to you because it can bring bad luck to their growth... so... I'm just letting you know they came to a good home.

I came home from the appointment and told Jesse that they think we'll have a baby before the weekend is over. He went and packed himself a bag and threw it in the truck!! Shannon installed our carseat!!

Then I thought for sure we were only going to get a couple hours of sleep last night... but nope... we both woke up this morning and said, where is she?

The lawn needs to mowed, and Jesse just bought a push mower from the neighbor's garage sale... I'm thinking I should go mow the lawn with the push mower... I'll work her out!!

Good morning! Blueberry is a beauty! Congratulations to you and your family!

We would love to make a trip down again this summer to see you and your beautiful gardens again. if you don't mind. Kristin mentioned she would like to come as well. We have nothing but time on our hands now so Staci and I and the baitlady could come. PS: need some more "kiss me over the garden gate", Yes really!!!
