Engagement Sneak Peek

Had a very fun engagement shoot with a girl I have known since she was a little girl.  She has become a beautiful young lady with a very special man in her life.  Well there's actually 3 special men in her life but those two rugrats were spending time with grandparents whom they do not get to see very often.  The wedding is in May of 2013 and while they are back home the planning has begun....

Keisha loves sepia colors so here is the first photo in sepia just for her.  What a beautiful girl!!

I liked this light effect

Keisha gave me lots of ideas via. Pinterest..... gotta love that Pinterest and I am always thankful when they come with ideas of their own.  If they love the pictures they pin on Pinterest they will love them even more when it's them.   Billy was so funny during these photos, he was a good sport and made me laugh out loud many times.

But when it was time to love his fiance' he stepped right up and treated her like the queen that she is.

I'm normally not a far away girl but I love this one for some reason.

Be careful when you asked them to remember their first date...... the stories include cars in the ditch, burnt food and lots of other things that shouldn't have included a second date.  Nothing better than two people in love absorbed in themselves as the camera captures the moment.

The best part of the kiss is what happens before......

Thank you Keisha and Bill for such a wonderful time and the drinks after.  I sure had a good time and I hope it's not too long before you visit again.

Until October......

Jazzed Up Junk 2012 is done.  I cannot begin to thank the many people that came out to our sale.  The sale was another success and brings both Jeannie and I great joy to see all the smiling faces as they walk away with their treasures.  The only thing better is sharing stories with you all and hearing where your going to put your items at your home, gardens, or cottages.

Here is the line that was forming about 3:45.  You can see the girls planning for who's pulling what tags as soon as they can get in.

This year we had a fun ribbon cutting to start the sale.  Here is Jeannie and I with our Jazzed Up Junk T-shirts and cute little blue jean aprons.

Thank you again to everyone that came to see our treasures, we really enjoy doing this and really enjoy giving you the opportunity to make your spaces pretty.

Now to tell you a secret...... we're having another sale in the fall.  Let's say in October.....  don't worry I'll keep you posted on here to let you know the date.  Until then I'll see you at the garage sales or possibly you'll see me digging on someones curb dumpings.

Jazzed Up Junk Sale Tomorrow

It's Tuesday night and I just took a couple pictures as we were trying to set up for the sale that starts tomorrow at 4:00.  We feared rain and when you're prepared it doesn't happen so we got a tent set up, hopefully we don't need it.  There is seriously so much stuff that we cannot fit it in the garage and in the tent so we have to finish tomorrow and pray for nice skys.

Everything we have is worthy of it's very own photoshoot to shows it's cuteness but I didn't have the time or the space so this is what I got.  You will not believe this sale, I don't believe it and I've been living it.

See you at the sale..........   Intersection of CTH O and 13 - 2nd house east on O - Watch for signs and we do not open till 4:00 but you are more than welcome to come wait in your cars or driveway.  I'm very excited, I hope I can get some sleeps in tonight.

Cute Dragonfly

This fine fellow posed for a photo today.  Isn't he the cutest thing ever?

It's been a bit stressful around here lately and this last week I just added to our stress.  I'll share more when I feel more comfortable, I'm sure by then the stories will be a bit more easy to write.  Until then enjoy this little guy taking a dip in the water.

199th INF Reunion

It was an honor to be asked to attend the 199th INF Reunion that was held this year in our town.  These men shared their young lives together in ways we cannot imagine.  They came home from war, picked up where they left off, got married, raised children, welcomed grandchildren into their lives and then one day they decided to find each other again.  This is when the reunion began and these guys are very close and look forward to the next year that they can talk about their time in Vietnam.

Bill and Anne were the host for 2012

Here are the 199th INF Men

And their spouses

One man from their unit did not come home with them.  A memorial was in place in his honor

His family did attend and had their photo taken with the rest of the guys

All the Veterans that were there

Two special guys from the area honored the 199th with memorable gifts

The Veterans were more than grateful for everything they were given, everyone that came to see them and just for the company.

This photo shows just that, a small token of thanks for everything they have done for our freedom.
God Bless
