Lynn and Family

Lynn and her family were due for family photos.  Melanie is a year old and I think it's been long before they were pregnant with her that they had them done.  It's tough to get your family organized with a date, clothes, no scratches on the face, naps, location..... blah, blah, blah.... just do it.  Call someone and get your family photos taken, you can thank me later.

Of course the kids are really comfortable with me so I get silly kids right away.  All 3 of these kids are the hardest for me to photograph but you'd never know it because of course I don't show the bloopers..... I should cuz they are hilarious.

Our oldest daughter Lynn and her cute little family.

The location is Jesse's grandfathers old barn which makes it a pretty cool location.

Melanie might be small but she has a way of getting what she wants.... and she wants to stand up, heck she just recently got walking legs and she wants to use them whenever she can.

And she likes to show off for Grandma.....

I told the kids to give mommy and daddy hugs.... and this is what happened.

Lynn has a photo of her with Mallory and Maxwell so we need to add Melanie to that wall.

And Jesse has one with him and the other two as well.

Melanie looks so much like her auntie Shannon.... whenever I spend time with her it takes me back to when Shannon was little.

Max is always my silliest one so we let him get his silly's out with mommy

Love this one and it should be huge somewhere in their house.

Melanie looks so darn big here...... {crying ugly tears}

Mallory is the one who takes care of Melanie when Lynn needs a watchful eye.  Mallory even calls herself Momma when she talks to Melanie.  Lynn calls her Backseat Momma..... and that she is.

And this one is for Jesse.... his little family next to his Grandpa Frey's barn.

Bruggink Family Photos

My cousin Patti and her family wanted a fall family photo but I couldn't get them in until the second week of October.  By then the leaves would all be gone but don't worry we'll still have the fall look on the ground.  This was in July......  Fast forward to October the day of their family photos and it's peak fall colors.

I love fall photos, wood piles, fall colors and I love this family.

Way back in the day we took care of Megan at our house everyday.  Patti and Chris were working nights and needed someone to watch Megan so she brought her by us and we had Megan everyday, she'd fall asleep on the couch and Patti would pick her up and take her home while we slept in our beds.  It's crazy to think about Megan being all warm and cozy and then swept away into the cold, she was about 2 at the time.  Its a good thing kids are so resilient to what parents must do.

I ask families fun questions that I hope will get natural smiles but sometimes I get this.....

And this....

but then I get this.  Close family connection...... perfect.

This is a family that loves their hunting so why not make it apart of your family photos.

Love you all and good luck with picking that ONE photo you wanted.

Wyatt Senior Photos

Wyatt isn't a very smily guy but I got one smile out of him..... I'm sure I was doing or saying something that made me look pretty stupid but it's a small price to pay for a smile.

Wyatt was worried the photos were going to take too long and he had school work to get done.  Gotta love kids that think of their homework first.

We laughed that this spot looks like we're in France..... all we need is a gondola paddling down the river.   Who knew France was right in our backyard.

Just a Beautiful Saturday

Beautiful October Saturday..... Nice day to put the outside patio stuff away, paint a few things, 4 wheeler ride to the hunting cabin, and lots of sunshine.

At the hunting cabin I seen a few visitors that were very curious about me walking in the woods.  It was crazy how close they would let me get.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year.

John has hunted in the same part of the woods since long before me.... It's been nick-named Holy Land.  It feels like Holy Land every time we ride through it.  It's always one of our stops so John can check his camera and I get a few pictures of it's beauty.

Then on the drive back to the cabin we see this little lady just relaxing on the side of the trail.

After a beautiful day we got an amazing sunset.  I didn't notice when the sun was setting but after it set the sky lit up with color.

The were combining soybeans and the darker it got the more you could see their light and the dust that flies in their headlight.

Sunsets and fall colors just never get old.  No matter how many times we see them they make you stop and be amazed by God's beauty.
